Christmas is the season to enjoy snowy winter days, but after Christmas is over, things turn bleak quickly. January, February, and March are particularly important times to compile a winter survival kit to keep in the trunk of your vehicle. Here's what our dealership recommends taking with you during every winter trip.
Light is one of our best friends in winter, so be sure to start your kit with a bright flashlight. Most experts recommend and LED light for maximum. Experts also recommend portable air compressors (for low tires), jumper cables, and plenty of warm blankets. Vehicles are known to stall or even break down in very cold temperatures, so you can never pack too much. You can always just not use what's in your kit, but once you're stuck out there on the road, you can't just go back home to get something you need.
Winter doesn't have to be a tragedy for you and your car. Create a winter survival kit for you and your family today.
